Composer for Summer 1

Jupiter (IV from the planets)– Gustav Holst 

Like many of you (I’m sure) I have spent longer than I care to admit watching Bluey with my son. One of the episodes, sleepy time, features a brilliant piece of music by Holst. Jupiter is the soundtrack to Bingo’s challenge in learning to sleep alone. As you may or may not know, much of the Bluey soundtrack is classical pieces (yet another reason to love it). As well as this, one of Holst’s influences was William Morris which links in nicely with our recent whole school artist project. Jess Garfield, Music Coordinator.
