At St. Aidan’s children wear their uniform with pride.
We believe that pupils learn most effectively and achieve their best outcomes when they are comfortable, able to be themselves, and dressed in a way that sets an appropriate tone for education.
St Aidan’s is an inclusive school and we celebrate the rich diversity of all our pupils and families. To ensure all children can wear their uniform with pride we have kept it extremely simple – a blue t-shirt or fleece with the school logo on the right breast – which ensures that it is:
We have done our best to ensure the uniform is affordable and accessible. Uniform with the school logo can only be ordered from Brigade Clothing Company. Click here to go to their website. We expect all children to wear these branded items only from the waist up.
Clothing from the waist down is at the discretion of the parent/carer but should be sensible and appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions. We recommend that warm coats, gloves and scarves are worn on cold days and waterproof outer clothing on wet ones. Our full uniform policy can be found here.
Parents are encouraged to donate uniforms their children have grown out of for reuse. We hold second-hand uniform sales throughout the year. Please speak to Lucy in the school office regarding this.
