27 Feb Languages morning
To celebrate International Mother Language Day, parents, older pupils and members of the teaching staff taught their native language in a carousel of languages today.
Each class was introduced to two languages which included Polish, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Hungarian and Greek.
Languages play a vital role in ensuring cultural diversity and preserving cultural heritage. We are so lucky to have so many children in our school who have different mother tongues and who bring different cultural heritages to St Aidan’s.
